Go into Poly selection mode and select the back polygons of the top row. Extrude them close to the rosette, then move the extruded polys slightly down.

Select the top two row of polygons in the front and extrude them the whole length of the neck.

With only the bottom row active of the two previously selected, extrude the polygons 4 more times to define the headstock. Extrude the middle 3 polys once more then do it again only with the one at the very center. Move the vertices around to match the blueprint, then delete the polygons that define the holes in the headstock.
