As you can see, if we rotate the object, it turns around the joint to the bottom piece. The top part of the robotic arm is separated, but this is what we have to take care of over the next steps.
The linking procedure is not difficult. You'll find yourself repeating a few steps for each segment of the arm. Let's start with the "claw". Select it, go to the Motion panel and open the Assign Controller rollout.
Select the Transform: Position/Rotation/Scale controller (1) and then click the Assign Controller button (2).
